| Rev. J. W. Weinbach and family A poor quality photo of Pastor Weinbach probably taken in Stratford Ontario. Eldest daughter Katherine would become the second wife of Wheatfield-born Herman Richert and the couple would move to the Saginaw Valley in Michigan. Eldest son Wilhelm would move to Mobile Alabama to serve as a principal at a Lutheran school but died young and left a widow and young daughter. Their next child, Carl, is not in the photo as he died in Bergholz in 1885 and is buried there. Another young child, daughter Christiane (1872-1873), is also buried in Bergholz, I think. The next child was son Christian. He too went to Mobile and studied medicine there. He returned to Buffalo and practiced there as a doctor. His grandson said he died at age 40 from cirrhosis of the liver. Dr. Christian had taken to drinking after two of his children died very young; from infectious diseases that he blamed himself for bringing home with him from his work. Youngest daughter Hermine was married twice; first to Harold Stosskopf of Perth County Ontario and second to Henry Kruschke of Eau Claire, WI. She lived for a time in Saginaw before ending up in St. Paul, MN. Youngest son Otto would become a Lutheran pastor serving in Delhi and Clifford Ontario before ending up in Baltimore, MD
