      Buffalo News, The (NY) - October 31, 2006
      Betty J. Schultz, who served for many years as executive director of the local Meals on Wheels, died Sunday in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was 84. She co-founded the Niagara Falls chapter in 1970 to serve meals to the elderly, working out of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Church. Born in Niagara Falls, she attended Niagara Falls High School. She was a past board member of several volunteer agencies. In 1981, she received the Heart of Gold Award from the Gannett Foundation for her community service. Mrs. Schultz was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Church, where she was active in the choir, Women of the Church and other activities. Survivors include a son, John, and a brother, Robert F. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1920 18th Street at Cleveland Avenue.
