He was a member of the Rescue Fire Company in No. Tonawanda and St. Paul Lutheran Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. Beloved husband of 67 years of Virginia (Andrees) Lemke; dear father of Richard (Val) Lemke of No. Tonawanda, Debra (Richard Severson) Lemke of Ft. Myer,s FL, Wayne (Julie) Lemke of Strongsville, OH, Wendy (Jeffrey) Binkley of No. Tonawanda, Jeffrey (Darlene) Lemke of Pryor, OK, Jayne Lemke of No. Tonawanda, Robert (Tracey) Lemke of Delmar, NY, and Rebecca Barry of No. Tonawanda; grandfather of 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in No. Tonawanda, on Friday from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM from St. Paul Lutheran Church; Interment in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
