Mrs. Ida Broecker, wife of August Broecker of 416 Fredericka Street, died shortly after midnight at the DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Broecker has been ailing for some time, and underwent an operation about a week ago. She had seemed to be getting along well, when suddenly she took a turn for the worse, and her heart finally gave out this morning. Mrs. Broecker was born in Germany 49 years ago. She came to the Tonawandas with her parents when she was one year old and had lived here ever since. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Marie; two sons, Clarence and Raymond, all residents of North Tonawanda. She also leaves four married sisters, Mrs. Albert Roggow, Mrs. Ernest Karre of the Tonawandas; Mrs. Henry Zimpfer, of Buffalo; and Mrs. Albert Drewes of Kenmore; and one brother, August Fritz of North Tonawanda. The funeral ceremonies will be held at the late residence at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Interment will take place in Frieden's cemetery.
