Notes	MAERTEN - Leonard H. Maerten, age 83, of North Tonawanda, Wednesday, (March 12, 1986) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Maerten was a member of Active Hose Fire Company and the Firemen's Benevolent Association He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (nee Broeker) Maerten; a daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Dorothy) Meiers of Tonawanda; two sons, Glenwood (Mary) Maerten of the Town of Wheatfield and Kenneth Maerten of North Tonawanda; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Gladys Guenther of North Tonawanda, Mrs. John (Viola) Ward of the Town of Wheatfield Mrs. Pearl Rhodes of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Virginia Hebert of North Tonawanda; one brother, Arthur Maerten of Buffalo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda this evening 7-9 and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 10:30 a.m. the Rev. Thomas E. Hardy will officiate. Interment in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired memorials may be made to DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
