PROHASKA - Anna Prohaska, 84, of Lower Mountain Rd., Lockport, N.Y., Sunday (June 1, 1975) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Austria-Hungary, Mrs. Prohaska had resided in North Tonawanda for over 50 years before moving to Lockport sixteen years ago. She was the wife of the late John Prohaska and a member of St. Joseph's R. C. Church. Mrs. Prohaska is survived by eight daughters, Mrs. Catherine Butler, Mrs. Helen Ludwig, Mrs. Edward (Anna) Gougeon, Mrs. Richard (Elizabeth) Perry, Mrs. Donald (Sophie) Mellenthine, Mrs. Anthony (Margaret) Beringer, Mrs. Roy) Marie) …..Lockport; also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two brothers in Rumania. The family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Church. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
