      Edward R. "Bud" Alvord. passed away April 1,2005, in Lockport. Born April 26,1926 in Hartland, NY, he was the son of Alfred and Hazel Penwright Alvord. "Bud retired from Harrison Radiator in 1985 after 35 years in production. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, tending his garden, stamp collecting and spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his wife Gladys Mary Bush Alvord March 20, 2003. He is survived by his children; Edward R. (Sandy) Alvord, Jr., Mark A. (Anita) Alvord, Victoria J. (Wiley) Tothill, Cynthia A. (John) Licata, all of Lockport and Deborah. (Terry) Farr of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great grandchild; three sisters, Irene Serosa, Alma Mieklejohn and Marion Bartholomew, all of Lockport; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. Private funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy. West Amherst, NY 14228 would be appreciated by the family.
