- WERTH - George F. Werth, 55, of Ward Rd., died Monday evening March 23, 1953 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield, he is survived by his wife, Hilda, nee Harder; a son, Marvin; three brothers, Frederick of Niagara Falls, William of North Tonawanda, Edwin of Sanborn; three sisters, Mrs. William Wendt, Pekin; Mrs. Amos Hahn of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Henry Leibel, Elma, N. Y. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda, and at 2:30\ p.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church. The Rev. J. Walter Thiemecke will officiate. Interment at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Mr. Werth was a member of the Men's Club and St. John's Lutheran Church.
