  Notes	Kneeppel, Edna, Niagara Gazette, Nov 6, 2007 (Caledonia) - Edna M. Kneeppel, age 93, of Caledonia, NY and formerly of Lewiston, NY, died Thursday morning November 1, 2007 in Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY, after a brief illness. Mrs. Kneeppel was born February 27, 1914 in Ransomville, NY, the daughter of the late Herman and Emma (Grose) Schultz. She had resided in Caledonia the past 25 years having moved there from Lewiston, where she lived most of her life. During WW II, Edna worked as a riveter at Bell Aircraft in Wheatfield, NY. In the 1950's she worked at the Model City, NY canning factory and at Chateau Gay Winery in Lewiston. Mrs. Kneeppel was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Batavia, NY. She was the widow of Elmer Kneeppel, who predeceased her in 1988. Edna is survived by a son, Robert (Diana) Kneeppel of Perry, NY; a daughter, Mary Louise (James) Burgess of Templeton, CA; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Hillman. A memorial service will be held at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Rd., Ransomville, NY on Wednesday, November 7 at 2:00 PM, with the Rev. Allen Werk officiating. There will be no prior visitation. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 31 Washington Ave., Batavia, NY 14020.
