- Mark Daniel Joy, longtime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. He was 61. He was born in Dansville, New York on August 23, 1962, a son of the late Robert and Marilyn “Magic” (Johnson) Joy. He attended Honeoye Falls and graduated from Roth-Henrietta and then attended Monroe Community College where he studied Accounting. Mark moved to Niagara Falls in 1992 and worked as a manager and machinist at Hutchins Automotive for many years. He was a proud member of the Seneca Nation and he enjoyed cooking and playing golf and darts. Mark was a fan of the New England Patriots, The Boston Bruins and the Red Sox and Celtics, was a longtime member of the Buff Social Club and the Shamrock Club at Kelly’s Corner and he made friends everywhere he went. Mark is survived by his loving wife Beverly (Koithan) Joy and 5 children: Mark D. (Katelynne) Joy II, William (Jennifer) Dixon, Bradley (Lisa) Dixon, David (Jennifer) Dixon and Daniel (Nicole) Dixon. He is also survived by his by his stepfather Rennie Plews, his brother: Mike Joy and his two children, Cady and Ace and his brother Robert Joy and 9 grandchildren: AnnaMarie, Mark III, Olivia, Avery, Hailey, Allissa, Miranda, Jaren and Ashton. Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, 14304 on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 3 to 7 PM. Burial will be private.
