Mrs. Duchow Of Middleport Dies At Home
MIDDLEPORT - A resident of Middleport for 18 years, Mrs. Hattie A. Duchow, 67, died today (April 10, 1961) at her home, 22 Mechanic St. She was the wife of Frank Duchow. Mrs. Duchow was born in the Town of Royalton Nov. 22, 1893, the daughter of Ferdinand and Anna Brege Eick. She was a member of St.Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Arthur G. Kraatz and Mrs. Alex Velesko, Middleport; five brothers George Eick, Town of Royalton, Edward Eick, Loren Eick and Erwin Eick, all of Middleport; and Avery Eick, Town of Shelby; and three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call today and tomorrow from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 at the Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, Inc., Middleport; and Wednesday from 1 to 2 at St Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2. The Rev. Hilbert Huth will officiate.
