    • Obituary for Margaret R Jaenecke
      Margaret P. Jaenecke (nee Velia), of North Tonawanda, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on May 20, 2017, while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Margaret was born December 17, 1933 in North Tonawanda, daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (nee Grass) Velia. Wife of the late Theodore Jaenecke; beloved mother of Brian and Kathleen Jaenecke. Mrs. Jaenecke was a member of St.Jude the Apostle Parish in North Tonawanda. She was employed by Columbus MacKinnon, Twin City Cleaners, Professional Economics and Dr. Michael Isso's Office. She was a member of Active Hose #2 Ladies Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary and volunteered for the Herschell Carousel Museum. Margaret enjoyed cross stitching and serving others. Private Burial in St.Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Cambria.

      Celebration of Life in Honor of Peg Jaenecke will be held at Classics, 2425 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst, NY Thursday July 20, 2017 from 11:00 am - 3:30 pm Light Refreshments will be served from 12 noon - 1:30 pm.
      The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for Margaret on December 13, 2017 at 9AM from her home parish of St. Jude the Apostle, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd, North Tonawanda.
