    • William Wendt
      PEKIN - William H. Wendt, 80, of 3507 Lower Mountain Road, died Sunday (July 6, 1975) in the Newfane Inter-Community Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Born in Wheatfield he had been a resident here most of his life. He operated a farm on Lower Mountain Road for over 50 years and had also been employed at the Carborundum Company for 15 years and at. the National Grinding Wheel, North Tonawanda, as a lathe operator, for 12 years. He retired 13 years ago. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, North Ridge and the Lutheran Laymen's League. Survivors include his wife, Julia Wendt of here; a daughter, Mrs, Patrick (Margaret) Tuepah of here; two grandchildren and a great-grandson and three step-children, Donald Grose of Wilson, Mrs, Beatrice Pedley, and Mrs Mae George, both of Florida. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Musall officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrews Lutheran Cemetery, Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Sanborn today from 7 to 9 p.m. and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Contributions to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, North Ridge Building Fund will be acceptable as tribute the family said.
