Mrs L Kammerer Died Last Night
The death of Mrs. Lucy Kammerer which occurred last evening at her home, No. 1638 Ontario avenue, the community loses one of its well known and highly esteemed residents. Mrs. Kammerer was a life long resident of this city where she was born July 4, 1855. The daughter of Balthaser and Anna Weiler, early settlers. She was united in marriage in 1875 to Adam Kammerer whose death occurred in 1911. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Charles J. Woolcock, Mrs. Elizabeth Vorwerk, Mrs. C. Fred Hartwig, Mrs. George Shipston, Mrs. Otto J. Jacoby and two sons, John B. and Carl A. Kammerer and ten grand children, also two sisters Mrs. D. V. Hu[rl]ey and Mrs. [J. A. Cole] and one brother George J. Weiler. Mrs. Kammerer was a life long and active member of Zion Lutheran church, where the funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. Rev. Herman Brezing officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
