LOCKPORT - The widow of a former alderman here, Mrs. Katherine Wendel, 73, of 236 S. Transit St., died Friday (Feb. 19, 1960) in Lockport Memorial Hospital, Mrs. Wendel was the widow of former 4th Ward Alderman William J. Wendel, who died in 1956. She was a lifelong resident of Lockport. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. C. Donald Few, Lockport, and five grandchildren. Services will be conduct at 1:30 at the Lange Funeral Home by the Very Rev. L. Russell Foster of Grace Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
