Emily A. (nee Szczepaniec) Kowalik, Monday (May 1, 1978). Born in North Tonawanda, she resided here most of her life. She was formerly employed by the Wurlitzer Co. Mrs. Kowalik is survived by her husband, Stanley Kowalik; two step-sons, Ronald (Joyce) Kowalik of Appleton, N.Y., and Richard (Kathleen) Kowalik of Sanborn; four grandchildren; two brothers, John (Jean) Szczepaniec, Paul (Dorothy) Szczepaniec; two sisters,Mrs. Chester (Helen), Sophie Szczepaniec all of North Tonawanda. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Larango Funeral Home, 652 Oliver St., (Corner 5th Ave.), North Tonawanda, where funeral services will beheld Friday (May 5) at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial offered in St. Joseph's R.C. Church at 10 a.m. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be recited 8:30 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
