BEHRENS - Minnie (nee Thode) Behrens, 92, of 260 Fletcher St., Tonawanda, died Wednesday (Feb. 19, 1964) in North Town Nursing Home after a long illness. Mrs. Behrens was the widow of Charles Behrens. She is survived by three sons, Harold and Leonard of Niagara Falls and Carl of Tonawanda; two grandchildren, Robert C. of Youngstown and Mrs. Norman (Marilyn Dauphin of North Tonawanda. She also is survived by four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Behrens was associated with the Charles Behrens Shoe Store on Webster Street, North Tonawanda, from 1904 to 1914 and then with the Charles Behrens Dry Goods Store in Niagara Falls until her retirement in 1949. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, the Riverdale Rebekah Lodge 195, of which she was a past noble grand. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. at Hilliard Funeral Home Inc., 147 Delaware St., Tonawanda, where services will be Saturday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Karl H.A. Rest officiating. Interment at Riverdale Cemetery at Niagara Falls, N.Y.
